Since 1999, Premier Martial Arts has been providing instruction in the traditional martial arts and Women's Self Defense Training to our local community. Our programs cater to students of all ages, beginning with our 3 – 4 year old Little Champs classes and progressing up to our Teens & Adults classes. We have something for everyone. Now with two convenient locations in Encinitas and Poway to serve you.

My daughter Sienna started karate at your studio about 5 months ago. This is the first activity I have seen her be truly passionate about. She absolutely loves it. Our mission is to make our students more successful in life by teaching our Karate based traditional martial arts system as a complete discipline of mind, body and spirit, producing students who are positive, confident, respectful and who adhere to high personal standards of conduct.

Any Man, Woman or Child can learn the Premier Martial Arts System
Age, or fitness levels are no barriers to mastering this art. Training begins with simple motions of attack and defense and gradually progresses into more complex combinations of techniques and action forms. As coordination and ability improves, students are upgraded in rank and given more advanced instruction appropriate to their abilities. Fitness and flexibility improves by performing these techniques and by stretching before and after each class. You do not have to be in good shape or have an athletic back-round to join our program.

My daughter Shannon, has enthusiastically attended Premier Martial Arts for over five years and absolutely loves the classes, the camaraderie, and especially the instructors. It’s hard to imagine another program that would have so positively impacted her discipline and self-esteem in such a dramatic manner. Through her consistent training, she understands at her young age, the correlation between commitment and achieving one’s goals. Her ‘warrior spirit’ has focused her enthusiasm and she now feels tremendous confidence when undertaking all sorts of other sports and academic endeavors. This program really does change lives!
